A 6.5 mile walk around Edgworth, Turton and Entwistle.
The walk combines history, both ancient and modern, water and wildlife to produce a fascinating walk for everyone.
Meet at 10.30am at the entrance to Batridge Road (Entwistle Reservoir) car park (just above the bank of the Turton and Entwistle Reservoir) ready to leave at 10.45. Please don't rely entirely on the postcode for directions in rural locations, as it may be inaccurate. Also, please note there may be no mobile phone signal in the area.
We'll drive to the Black Bull in Edgworth for food after the walk.
Walking boots, walking socks, multiple layers of clothes including jumper or fleece, warm waterproof & windproof winter coat (or ski jacket), hat, gloves, waterproof trousers. Also please bring snacks and a drink.
